Color Theory & Psychology

Color is one of the most powerful tools in a designer's arsenal. It influences mood, perception, and purchasing decisions before a single word is read. Mastering color theory is what separates good design from truly great design.

Understanding the relationships between hues — complementary, analogous, triadic — allows a designer to create harmony or deliberate tension that guides the viewer's eye and evokes specific emotions.

Color & emotion

Red commands urgency and passion. Blue builds trust and calm. Gold signals luxury and exclusivity. Every brand palette is a psychological strategy, and choosing colors intentionally is one of the most impactful decisions in brand design.
